Students can get assistance with homework every Tuesday and Thursday after school at our Homework Center. For the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year, Homework Center will meet in the cafeteria. From 3:30 to 4:30 at least two certified teachers (one math, one other content area) will be available to help students with assignments. Transportation is available; a bus leaves at 4:30 from the front of the building to get students home. For more information, please contact (708) 585-2000.
ASAP (After School Assistance Program) is an after-school homework center for those students with IEPs. Students can be referred by a teacher or can walk-in on their own. ASAP seeks to improve grades, gain new skills and knowledge and take a proactive approach in becoming a confident and responsible learner.
ASAP is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 in Room 218. There is a bus that leaves TF South at 4:30 from the front of the building to assist students in getting home.
Every lunch hour there are one to three math teachers available during the 2nd part of the lunch portion to help students. They will walk around and also take students into the corner room in the cafeteria to help. Students who are unfamiliar with the teachers can identify them by the photos in the cafe.
