Student Equity and Leadership

Description: As our District continues the D215 Equity Action initiative, we are making steps to empower and inspire students to lead through advocacy and agency. With this being said, our district recently approved a new club called the Student Equity and Leadership Club. This is a brand new club and we are glad to introduce it to our TF North community. The Student Equity and Leadership Club is a great step forward in making sure that the voices of our student body are being heard.

Activities Include: Review and monitoring of equity action items, equity activities with peers, and opportunities to express student voice through leadership activities; discussions on equity, cultural relevance, evaluation of the school environment, and navigating current issues.

Time Commitment: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays in Room 136

Activity Time Period: September through May
